Strategic Advocate
To fulfill CABA’s role as the Advocate for the critical issues on trade and economy, it has collaborated with various Embassies and Trade Associations on the following fora:
- “Outlook for Malaysia: Overcoming Challenges and Emerging Stronger” – Malaysian Embassy, Aug 2021 (to shed light on Malaysian economy and stability during transition of Malaysian prime-minister appointments. Concurrently High Commissioner H.E. Dato Azfar Mohamad Mustafa has been appointed to Singapore as his inaugural platform to address Singapore and ASEAN)
- “Insights into Fastest ASEAN Growing Economy – Vietnam”, Vietnam Association of Corporate Directors, Aug 2021 (to shed light on community focus in investing in ASEAN when Vietnam emerged from a 3 months Covid lock-down)
- “On Past and Future of Vietnam Business” – Vietnam Association of Corporate Directors (Finance), Sep 2021
- “Attracting Economic and Startup FDIs into Philippines” – Philippines Embassy, Enterprise Singapore (Finance), Aug 2021 (to shed light on stability of economic FDIs especially upon appointment of newly elected president Marcos)

CABA attempted as a capability builder for the business community and its members especially on current trending business issues focusing on: Digital Transformation, Financing, Smart and Sustainable City.
