Tan Chong Huat

Tan Chong Huat is a Senior Partner and one of the founding members of RHTLaw Asia.

Chong Huat is a Fellow with the Singapore Institute of Directors and has been appointed on the boards as non-executive chairman, and independent director of listed companies in Singapore and Hong Kong. Some of them are government linked entities. He also co-founded RHT Group of Companies which is the leading professional services group in Asia.

Pushpanathan Sundram

Azman Jaafar

Azman Jaafar is the Managing Partner and one of the founding members of RHTLaw Asia.

Azman was the Chairman of the Executive Committee of SAFRA Jurong Clubhouse and member of the Management Committee of SAFRA.  He is also Chairman of the Tanjong Katong Girls School Advisory Committee and he is a member of the Board of Trustees of Industrial & Services Co-operative Society Ltd (“ISCOS”).  He is also a serving member of the Management Committee for Home United Football Club (“HUFC”).

Victor Tay

Victor Tay is the Managing Director within the Investment Banking group and is based out of Stout’s Singapore office focusing on South East Asia office.
His areas of expertise include corporate strategic development, market entry and expansion strategy, direct investment, M&A and corporate finance advisory. He has assisted a number of Asian companies in going public successfully.

Prior to Stout, Victor was Chief Operating Officer of Singapore Business Federation, with an in-depth understanding of global strategic developments, including in China, the United States and Asia.

He was also Group Director of Singapore Economic Development Board and SPRING Singapore, where he oversaw eight industry sectors comprising of Transportation, Logistics, Environmental, Engineering Services, Biomedical, Chemicals, Education and Business Services in which he had assisted Singapore enterprises in a variety of areas such as M&A advisory, technological R&D, private equity investment and internationalization.

Conversant with Technology and Strategy Consultancy, Victor was also the Principal of Management Consulting Services at PWC (Asia Pacific), Management Consultancy at KPMG (Asia Pacific), Chief Development Officer of Nanyang Technological University and Chief Technology Officer at Pacific Internet.
Victor has developed deep understanding of future science and technology trend and sustainable development strategies as the Chief Development Officer of Nanyang Technological University. His previous board appointments include Vice Chairman of the United Nations Global Compact Network Singapore, Chairman of the Environmental and Water Centre for Innovation at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, and Independent Director of the Franchising and Licensing Association (Singapore).He was appointed by government as the Singapore representative at the ASEAN Young Business Leader Committee.

He also sat at a series of government committees including SME Committee, REACH, Tripartite, PDPA Appeal Committee, as well as, a series of awards committee like Enterprise 50, SME 1000, E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Awards, Singapore Productivity Awards, Singapore Sustainability Awards.

At the association front, Victor is also Governing Council member of Singapore Digital Chamber of Commerce, Independent Board Advisor of Singapore Franchising and Licensing Association of Singapore, Singapore representative to World Franchise Council.

Victor was awarded Oxford Director’s Scholarship while he was attending EMBA at University of Oxford. Concurrently he had attended Executive Management Programme with Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, Columbia University and University of Cambridge.

He is the Executive Fellow with National University of Singapore and lectures at Civil Service College International and speaks regularly to the regional media on various topics on future trends, business issues, innovation and technology, growth strategies, market expansion and merger and acquisitions.

Zachary Scully

Zachary is a Partner in RHTLaw Asia and specialises in Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency. He has 23 years of post qualifying experience and is qualified to practice law in Singapore, Malaysia and Australia.

Zachary has diversified expertise gathered from both private practice as well as from being General Counsel in an Oil & Gas public listed company based in Malaysia. His areas of practice include corporate restructuring and insolvency, dispute resolution and corporate commercial matters where he regularly advises clients on cross-border transactions, joint ventures, corporate finance, investments, trust structures and other commercial agreements.

Throughout his legal career in the various legal jurisdictions of Singapore, Malaysia and Australia, he has represented clients ranging from individuals, partnerships, local companies and multi national public listed companies with offices located worldwide.
