Economic integration is a key facet of ASEAN 2025. Growth in trade and general economic prosperity is the cornerstone of ASEAN economic integration. If both of the above cannot be achieved, then ASEAN 2025 will be deemed to have failed to achieve its objectives. The key stakeholders in this endeavour will be both the private and the public sector whose role as the prime mover of growth will be crucial to ASEAN 2025. In this context, the inputs from the man on the ground will provide the foundation for the enhancing of trade facilitative measures.
